These terms cover your use of jetlagged-john.com and my travel advisor services. By using the site or working with me, you agree to them.
Who I am
Jet Lagged John LLC is an independent travel advisor business based in Kansas City, Missouri. I book travel through my host agency, Sea Sun Vacations. When I book your trip, I act as an agent for the cruise lines and other travel suppliers. I am not the operator of any cruise, flight, hotel or tour.
My services are free to you
There is no charge for my advice or for booking with me. I’m paid by the travel suppliers through commissions, and that never changes the price you pay. If that ever changes for a specific service, I’ll tell you in writing before you agree to anything.
Supplier terms apply to your booking
Every booking is governed by the travel supplier’s own terms, including payment schedules, cancellation penalties, change fees and refund rules. I’ll point you to those terms before you book. Please read them, since they are the rules your trip runs on.
Prices, availability and Deal Alerts
Prices, promotions and availability change often and are not guaranteed until your booking is confirmed by the supplier. Cruise Deal Alerts and other content on this site are for general information and may be out of date by the time you read them.
Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for giving accurate traveler information, reviewing your confirmations, and having valid passports, visas, vaccinations and other documents required for your trip. I strongly recommend travel insurance and will help you compare options. Choosing not to buy it is your decision.
Content on this site
Articles, videos and opinions on this site share my personal experience and are for general information only. They are not legal, medical or financial advice. Cruise line policies change, so always confirm important details before you sail.
Links and third-party content
This site links to and embeds content from other services, such as YouTube and Calendly. I’m not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Intellectual property
The Jet Lagged John name, logo, photos, videos and written content belong to Jet Lagged John LLC. Please don’t copy or reuse them without permission. Sharing a link is always welcome.
Limitation of liability
I work hard to plan great trips, but I can’t control travel suppliers, weather, strikes, illness, government actions or other events outside my control. To the fullest extent the law allows, Jet Lagged John LLC is not liable for the acts or omissions of travel suppliers or for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount, if any, you paid me directly for the service involved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
