I'm John, a seasoned cruiser with nearly three decades of experience. I help people experience cruising the way seasoned travelers do, without all the trial and error.

MY STORY
I've made the mistakes, so you don't have to.
My first cruise was May 6, 2000, on the brand-new Carnival Triumph, with my parents and my brother. Yes, the same ship that later made headlines as “the Poop Cruise.” When we sailed her, she was beautiful. We had never taken a vacation like that, and I couldn't get over the grandeur of the ship, how much fun we had and how good the food was. I've been in love with cruising ever since.

Since then I've sailed 26 cruises on Carnival, Virgin Voyages and Celebrity, from Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao in the Southern Caribbean all the way to Alaska. Every ship has its own vibe, and matching you with the right one is half the magic.
​
My biggest mistake? Flying in on embarkation day. We made the ship with almost no time to spare, and the stress followed me the whole trip. I'll never do it again, and I'll make sure you don't either.
​
Friends and family were always asking for my cruise advice, so I figured other people had the same questions. That's why I started my YouTube channel. Then viewers began asking if I could help them have the same experience, and becoming a travel advisor was the natural next step.

On YouTube, I show you what it's really like onboard, the good and the not so good. Here, I help you book it.
Solo cruisers, couples, families and friend groups are all welcome. I especially love planning first cruises, so you get that same feeling I had in 2000, and luxury sailings that go far beyond what the mainstream lines offer.

Cruise lines pay travel advisors a commission when you book. That comes from the cruise line, not from you, so you pay the same fare you'd see on the cruise line's site.
